Ring Groups
Overview
A Ring Group allows incoming calls to ring multiple extensions simultaneously so that any available member can answer.
This is ideal for teams where multiple users can handle incoming calls, such as sales or support departments.
How Ring Groups Work
- A DID is routed to a Ring Group
- All assigned members ring at the same time
- The first person to answer takes the call
- If no one answers, the call can be sent to voicemail
Supported Member Types
You can include the following in a Ring Group:
- Devices
- Call Forwarding entries
