How to Use Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding allows an incoming call to be redirected to a mobile phone or another telephone number where the intended recipient can answer. This is useful when you're away from your desk or need calls handled elsewhere.

Method 1: Set Up Call Forwarding via the Web Portal

Use the online portal to create and manage call forwarding rules.

Access the portal here:
Steps:
  1. Log in to the portal.
  2. Navigate to Call Forwarding.
  3. Click Add New Entry.
  4. Enter the destination phone number (e.g., your mobile).
  5. Save the entry.

After Creating a Call Forwarding Entry:
You can assign it to different call handling features:
  • Inbound DID (as main, busy, or unreachable destination)
  • Ring Group
  • Call Queue
This allows flexible routing depending on how your system is configured.

Method 2: Enable Call Forwarding Directly on Your Phone

You can also forward calls directly from your desk phone so that any incoming calls automatically redirect.
Steps:
  1. Press Menu (OK)
  2. Go to Phone
  3. Select Call Features
  4. Choose Account 1
  5. Enable Call Forwarding
  6. Enter the forwarding number
  7. Save/apply settings
